When ye therefore shall see the abomination of desolation, spoken of
by Daniel the prophet, stand in the holy place...then shall be great
tribulation, such as was not since the beginning of the world to this
time, no, nor ever shall be Matt 24:15,21
And he shall speak
great words against the most High, and shall wear out the saints of the
most High, and think to change times and laws: and they shall be given
into his hand until a time and times and the dividing of time.
Dan 7:25

Signs in the sun, moon,
and stars terminate the tribulation period and announce that the Day
of the Lord is at hand.
And I beheld when
he had opened the sixth seal, and, lo, there was a great earthquake; and
the sun became black as sackcloth of hair, and the moon became as blood;
And the stars of heaven fell unto the earth, even as a fig tree casteth
her untimely figs, when she is shaken of a mighty wind. And the heaven
departed as a scroll when it is rolled together; ...For the great day of
his wrath is come; and who shall be able to stand?
Rev 6:12-17
Immediately
after the tribulation of those days (the tribulation which
has been cut short, not after the completion of 1260 days) shall the
sun be darkened, and the moon shall not give her light, and the stars
shall fall from heaven, and the powers of the heavens shall be shaken.
Matt 24:29
The sun shall be
turned into darkness, and the moon into blood, before
the great and the terrible day of the LORD come. Joel
2:31
And all the host of
heaven shall be dissolved, and the heavens shall be rolled together as a
scroll: and all their host shall fall down, as the leaf falleth off from
the vine, and as a falling fig from the fig tree. Isa 34:4

Before the sounding of
these trumpets, the 144,000 are sealed, and a great crowd
has turned to God, coming out out the great tribulation.
These are protected from God's judgments against the man of sin and the unrepentant world.
The trumpet and seal
judgments constitute "The Day of the Lord" as a
period of God's wrath toward mankind. This is in
distinction to the "Great Tribulation" which is
a period of Satan's wrath against God's people.

3rd Woe
The kingdoms of this
world are become the kingdoms of our Lord, and of his
Christ Rev 11:15
The LORD shall send
the rod of thy strength out of Zion: rule
thou in the midst of thine enemies. Ps
110:2
But in the days of
the voice of the seventh angel, when he shall begin to
sound, the mystery of God should be finished,
as he hath declared to his servants the prophets.

Jesus

Seven Bowl Judgments
Angels Sent To Gather The Wicked Out Of His Kingdom and
cast them into "a furnace of fire" Matt 13:42
The 144,000 are seen on
the heavenly Mount Zion with Christ after the Seventh
(Last) Trumpet, but before the bowls judgments are poured
out.
These were redeemed
from among men, being the firstfruits
unto God and to the Lamb. Rev
14:4
The firstfruits being
presented to the Lord, the general harvest of mankind
begins.
Thrust in thy
sickle, and reap: for the time is come for thee to reap;
for the harvest of the earth is ripe. Rev 14:15

1000 Year
Reign of Christ
|
2000 + Years
The events to mark the age from the ascension of
Christ until the beginning of the Great Tribulation.
For all these things must come to pass, but the end is
not yet. For nation shall rise against nation, and
kingdom against kingdom: and there shall be famines, and
pestilences, and earthquakes, in divers places. All these
are the beginning of sorrows.
Matt 24:6-8
And I saw when the Lamb opened one
of the seals, and I heard, as it were the noise of
thunder, one of the four beasts saying, Come and see. And
I saw, and behold a white horse: and he that sat on him
had a bow; and a crown was given unto him: and he went
forth conquering, and to conquer. And when he had opened
the second seal, I heard the second beast say, Come and
see. And there went out another horse that was red: and
power was given to him that sat thereon to take peace
from the earth, and that they should kill one another:
and there was given unto him a great sword. And when he
had opened the third seal, I heard the third beast say,
Come and see. And I beheld, and lo a black horse; and he
that sat on him had a pair of balances in his hand. And I
heard a voice in the midst of the four beasts say, A
measure of wheat for a penny, and three measures of
barley for a penny; and see thou hurt not the oil and the
wine. And when he had opened the fourth seal, I heard the
voice of the fourth beast say, Come and see. And I
looked, and behold a pale horse: and his name that sat on
him was Death, and Hell followed with him. And power was
given unto them over the fourth part of the earth, to
kill with sword, and with hunger, and with death, and
with the beasts of the earth Rev 6:1-8

1260
Days
A period of time
clearly marked in scripture, beginning with the placing
of the "Abomination of Desolation" and ending
with the seventh trumpet blast.
And I heard the man clothed in
linen, which was upon the waters of the river, when he
held up his right hand and his left hand unto heaven, and sware by him that liveth for ever that
it shall be for a time, times, and an half; and when he
shall have accomplished to scatter the power of the holy
people, all these things shall be finished.
Dan 12:7
And the angel which I saw stand
upon the sea and upon the earth lifted up his hand to
heaven, And sware by him that liveth for
ever and ever, who created heaven, and the things that
therein are, and the earth, and the things that therein
are, and the sea, and the things which are therein, that
there should be time no longer: But in the days of the
voice of the seventh angel, when he shall begin to sound,
the mystery of God should be finished,
as he hath declared to his servants the prophets.
Rev 10:5-7
Although it is given unto the 'beast' to make war with the saints for 42 months, his
ability to overcome them is cut short by the astronomical
signs in the sun, moon and stars, and the beginning of
the Day of the Lord which catches the world off guard as
a "thief in the night"
And except those days should be
shortened, there should no flesh be saved: but for the
elect's sake those days shall be shortened. Matt 24:22
The day of the Lord thus overlaps the
1260 days by an unspecified amount of time.

Days "Furnace of
Fire"
The harvest begins at the last trumpet
with the first resurrection and the translation of the
elect and ends with the Battle of Armageddon:
In a moment, in the twinkling of an
eye, at the last trump: for the trumpet shall sound, and
the dead shall be raised incorruptible, and we shall be
changed. 1 Cor 15:52
And he shall send his angels with a
great sound of a trumpet, and they shall gather together
his elect from the four winds, from one end of heaven to
the other. Matt 24:31
Concerning the general harvest of
mankind:
Then shall two be in the field; the
one shall be taken, and the other left. Two women shall
be grinding at the mill; the one shall be taken, and the
other left. Matt 24:40-41
The Harvest period lasts 30 days.

Days Battle of Armageddon
The "Great Winepress of the Wrath
of God" kills all except those which have turned to
the Lord in repentance for protection during the prior
tribulation period. At the sixth seal, just prior to the
battle of Armageddon, the call goes forth for these to
remain steadfast:
Behold, I come as a thief. Blessed
is he that watcheth, and keepeth his garments, lest he
walk naked, and they see his shame. Rev 16:15
The battle of Armageddon completely
destroys all the wicked.
This period of time marks the final period of waiting for the saints
of God.
Blessed is he
that waiteth, and cometh to the thousand
three hundred and five and thirty days.
Dan 12:12
Therefore hath the curse devoured
the earth, and they that dwell therein are desolate:
therefore the inhabitants of the earth are burned, and
few men left. Isa 24:6
